Course Set Dinner menu: This special menu will feature a choice of 3
starters, 3 mains and 3 desserts with an added incentive of no corkage for
local Swellendammers.
Tonight’s
menu: 3 Course Set Dinner - R195 - NO CORKAGE
Starters:
Parma ham and Mediterranean black figs with hazelnuts and a honey and
lemon dressing / Franschoek oaked smoked salmon trout roulade with
pickled cucumber, crostini and a mustard and fennel dressing /Marinated
beef medley with cornichons, baby Rosa tomatoes, pea shoots, shaved Parmesan
and a wholegrain mustard cream
Mains:
Slow roast free range belly of pork with red wine lentils, spiced
onion puree’, creamy mash and a white wine jus
Fillet of Black Angus beef
with portabella mushroom, balsamic roasted cheeky red tomatoes, shoestring
fries and garlic butter
Free range chicken supreme
with red pepper ragout, Parmesan polenta and thyme jus
Desserts:
Crème
Brulee / Dark chocolate brownie with hot fudge sauce and whipped cream
/Vanilla ice cream with toffee sauce and toasted almonds
